Who We Are
Keen On Education is a free online platform made to support parents and teachers with fun, easy-to-use first-grade math resources. From games and worksheets to hands-on activities, everything we offer is designed to make learning math exciting, accessible, and meaningful for all children—no matter their background or learning style.
But Keen On Education is more than a website. It’s a story of friendship, teamwork, and a shared dream to help kids succeed.
Learn About the Founders
Phillip is an individual with special needs and a strong voice for kindness and inclusion. He plays a big role in making the worksheets and activities on this site. Every lesson reflects his care, effort, and love for learning. He also volunteers every week at his church’s Sunday school, helping younger students learn and grow.
Daniel is a life coach and web designer. He began working with Phillip in 2016 to support Phillip’s health and wellness. But as they spent more time together, Daniel noticed Phillip’s passion for helping others learn—and they decided to build something special.
Together, Daniel and Phillip created Keen On Education—a place where all kids can feel confident and supported.
Our Story
Keen On Education started small—in a local gym, where Daniel and Phillip first worked together. Their connection grew into a creative partnership. Over nearly 10 years, they’ve combined their skills in coaching, design, and education to build something that makes a difference.
What began as a simple idea is now a growing resource used by families and classrooms across the country.

Whether you're a parent helping at home or a teacher building lessons, our tools are made to support your goals—always free, always easy to use.
Beyond Math
Daniel and Phillip are also the creators of Adventures in Kindville, a children’s book series all about kindness, friendship, and emotional growth.
Now, they’re working on a new story-based book series that brings first-grade math to life with fun characters and adventures—making numbers feel like part of a bigger story.
Their mission: to make math clear and exciting, across all kinds of formats.
Looking Ahead
Keen On Education is just getting started. We’re planning new worksheets, book projects, and creative tools to help more families and schools—both in our North Carolina community and across the country.
